ABOUT IMRRA
THIS DEED OF TRUST is made on this 26th day of November 2024 by Sri Daya Shankar S/o Hira Lal, Village Banha, Post Ojha Ganj, District Basti, Uttar Pradesh 272131, India, the author of the Trust hereinafter called and referred to as the SETTLER TRUSTEE,
AND WHEREAS the Settler trust has constituted a sum of Rs. 25,000/= (Rupees Twenty five thousands only) as an initial corpus of the as may from time to time be so vested in the trust or received by the Trust by virtue of these present or by operations of law or otherwise in relation to the instant Trust created hereby. At present, there is no immovable property in the name of the trust.
And now therefore, this Deed witness that the above named SETTLER TRUSTEE created a public charitable trust to be called “INDIAN MIGRANT RED RIBBON ALLIANCE” hereinafter called the trust.
AND WHEREAS with a view to and for the purposes of constitution the trust permanently and perpetually it is found desirable that for the purpose of the creation of this Public charitable trust, the declaration of Trust is made out in the details.
It is a Trust for environmental issues, socio economic development and action, economic and political reconstruction, human development, patent and other IPR issues, research and development of science and technology and intervention, education, equitable distribution of wealth, protection and preservation of national recourses, competition in the economy, consumer, farmers, labour, women, children forest dwellers, etc. welfarement and protection and upliftment of poor and needy purposes and not for profit. The aims and objectives of the Trust shall be as follows.
- The purpose of the trust is to encourage the promotion and protection of migrants and their human rights, in accordance with the laws.
- To identify information, policy and institutional gaps necessary to foster synergies and greater policy coherence at national, regional and international levels between the migration and development policy areas;
- To establish partnerships and cooperation between states and country label Non-government organization and other stakeholders, such as organizations working on migration and development;
- To delivery of social programs, community development, engaging migrants and migrant communities with their origin, and partnership building with relevant institutions, authorities and business. IMRRA also provides a full range of services, tailored to the needs of migrants as a individual, family or community.
- IMRRA aimed at transferring skills and knowledge acquired by migrant’s metro cities to their local native place.
- IMRRA’s approach addresses the root causes of migration by providing interventions in areas vulnerable to high rates of economically motivated migration. In regions that have been recently affected by armed conflict, the Organization works to provide return-friendly environments for displaced persons, to create employment through income-generating activities and to harness the resources of the migration for socio-economic development.
- To educate rural, vulnerable section and flood prone of the people by creating the educational facilities along with motivating to gain the educational knowledge from nearby existing educational institution to avoid movement to other areas and resist to stay not to become migrant.
- To update and create awareness about knowledge of HIV and its resultant effect as disaster of life as well as their family and to sustain in their rural areas to avoid for getting any contamination from HIV prone destination.
- To introduce beekeeping, goatary, poultry, vegetable farming establishing organic farming units providing modern farming technology of flood prone area in view of not to leaving their area and resist for survival in their native places and get less chance for becoming migrants.
- To join with SHG, to develop health aids, its awareness and to do regular physical exercises, participate in youth village based club, create healthy entertainment club, associate and generate through SHG based enterprise’s earnings.
- Facilitating cooperation among migrants for the exchange of information, education and awareness and for substantive discussions on the issues and policies related to all facets of global migration under United Nations consideration.
- Cooperating with local NGOs, CBOs, organizations and agencies to raise public awareness about the frameworks on migration in order to promote, protect, and defend the human rights of migrants.
- Making best possible manner for rehabilitation, creating other avenues and alternative housing facilities in flood prone areas, creating small scale industries, financial support through institutions and accessing agribusiness activities after flood disaster loss.
- To share information, ideas and initiatives on policy issues, service developments and best practice with a view to informing and co-coordinating activities to the establishment of the migrants.
- Promote and encourage the ethos of self-help and support to develop at their origins.
- To collate and gather information to disseminate to others.
- To act as advocates on behalf of the migrants family and community.
- To protect and promote the health and human rights of persons coming from any other origins.
- To support and strengthen program that prevent and mitigate rehabilitation related problem and enhance wellbeing of persons carrying habits of using drugs and/or affected by drug use and HIV across the country.
- To support the involvement and participation of peoples who wish to resettle in same community again.
- To co-ordinate and align health services and other treatment programmes for persons partially migrant for a time being as brick kiln laborer, nomadic groups.
- To establish partnerships and cooperation between states and country label Non-government organization and other stakeholders, such as organizations working on migration and development.
- Establishment of training centers for providing employment to the youth and linking them to employment by establishing coordination with government/non-government/private agencies.
- To set up and strengthen networks of individual and agencies working for migrants, nomadic groups and banjara community also at city, state and regional levels.
- Train individuals and agencies to trace and collect data of migrants to organized empowering activities for them.
- To conduct research including rapid situation assessments, surveys, operations research, policy review on migration and nomadic activities in the country.
- To develop and publish resource material including information sheets, posters, handbooks and manuals for the community based on needs.
- To act as a resource center and clearing house for information, updates and policy briefs on migration and resettlement.
- To establish, maintain and run Schools, Colleges, Social service centres, Industrial Training centre.
- To establish centres for employment generation.
- To conduct awareness activities/programs/projects related to health/Hygiene, education, agriculture, women empowerment, environment, community development, women and child development, child protection, rural development, women farmers, proportion of green energy, skill development, water conservation, water management, drinking water and sanitation, women empowerment.
